This quote couldn’t be more true for this couple. In the mid of COVID-19, we helped this couple plan and replan their big day so that they could get married and celebrate with their friends and family as scheduled. Just 3 days before their wedding, our groom, unfortunately, tested positive and we could no longer have their ceremony hosted at @tbg_toronto due to strict COVID-19 guidelines, but instead held it outdoors in the backyard of where they got ready that morning. Their wedding plans turned completely upside down! With a distanced ceremony and a reception where the groom was on a virtual call on an iPad, regardless we made it work! E&D persevered in the name of love and were committed to getting married. The whole team came together and @samanthaongphoto team captured some incredible moments like an emotional first look and fun portraits together (despite staying distanced from each other!). This was certainly a non-traditional wedding in that our bride and groom could not hold hands or have a true first kiss BUT they exchanged rings in a creative way – by passing their wedding bands to each other with a red string. E&D’s commitment to making their day a positive one despite the circumstances is a testament to their love for each other <3
